Unit 2 Super Kids!

There are 15 Year 1 and 2 students in Unit 2 and we have 2 enthusiastic teachers who love helping us learn. In term 3 we have Mrs Cousins with us on Monday to Thursday and Ms Brown comes in and teaches us on Fridays. This year our teachers will be helping us to become more confident and independent in our learning and to be super "KOOL"! (Kids Organising and Owning Learning). We are also going to learn about blogs and it will be fun posting our news and getting feedback.

LAB ON LEGS

Yesterday we did lab on legs and we talked about wings, legs and wheels. We looked at wheels first and it was great! We played with the Bee bots to show all the machines with wheels and ones that fly in the air.
Then we looked at insects through a microscope. We used a stopwatch to time the woodpeckers go down the stick. It was lots of fun. Written by Tracy
